The distinction of our great Anglican schools goes far beyond the classroom where students are offered thorough and balanced educational opportunities. Our distinguished schools of choice boast of excellence, equity and the opportunity for all of our students to grow spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally and morally. St. Anne’s School, St. John’s College, Bishop Michael Eldon School and St. Andrew’s Anglican School, are highly regarded institutions that nurture the whole student; so it is by no surprise that Caden Smith, the Primary Head Girl at St. Anne’s School has paved the way to make an impact in the fight against hunger right here in the Bahamas.

Through her dedication and commitment to making a change in our community, Caden has successfully received membership to the Red Nose Day Campaign. Supporting Caden in this campaign is the Director of Social Services and the Minister of Education who assisted with obtaining a Proclamation from The Prime Minister of The Bahamas to have our First Annual Red Nose Day on February 19th, 2016.

Caden also made a special visit to the Anglican Diocese, where she received the blessing of Bishop Laish Boyd, as he commended her vision and efforts and committed to have all four Anglican Schools show their support by allowing students to purchase and wear the red nose and t-shirts on campus.

The Red Nose Day campaign is dedicated to raising funds by simply having fun and making people laugh. Money raised will directly support the National Breakfast and Lunch Programs. Noses can be purchased from the school’s nurse at St. Anne’s School at a cost of $2.00 each. We invite our distinguished alumni, friends, family and the general community alike to support this initiative as we join together in this worthy cause to fight against hunger.
